During his general mechanical engineering studies, Tonio Reiser acquired a broad technical skill set. He then obtained a university degree in European and French patent law from CEIPI in Strasbourg, France. In addition, he completed the German and European patent attorney training. Today, he has more than 20 years of experience in intellectual property protection and regularly handles patent and trademark infringement proceedings and patent invalidity / revocation proceedings.

Licenses and qualifications

Tonio Reiser has been admitted to practice as an attorney by the German Patent and Trademark Office (Deutsches Patent- und Markenamt - DPMA), the European Patent Office (EPO), the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO), and the World Intellectual Property Organisation - WIPO (PCT applications, international application of trademarks and designs). In addition, he represents clients before the Unified Patent Court (UPC), the Federal Patent Court of Germany and in nullity matters before the Federal Court of Justice of Germany. Furthermore, Tonio Reiser has been added to the register of qualified persons by the French Patent Office (INPI).
