Marc Göhmann successfully acquired a university degree in Mechanical Engineering after which he worked as a patent engineer for intellectual property protection in a large company, mainly in the areas of patent and utility model law. In his many years in the industry, he further expanded his comprehensive technological orientation and completed first the European aptitude test and then the 8-year German patent attorney training. Today, he has more than 15 years of international experience in patent law.

Licenses and qualifications

Marc Göhmann has been admitted to practice as a representative by the German Patent and Trademark Office, the European Patent Office (EPO), the EUIPO (EU trademarks and EU registered designs), and the World Intellectual Property Organisation - WIPO (PCT applications, international application of trademarks). Furthermore, he is authorized to represent clients before the Unified Patent Court (UPC), the German Federal Patents Court and in nullity matters before the German Federal High Court of Justice.
